Tip of the month
Compose your email as you normally would, then click on Options > Delay Delivery > Do not deliver before. From there, you can specify the exact date and time you want the email to be sent.
This is a great way to get ahead on your email game. For example, you could write a few timely responses before you hop on a plane or go into a meeting. Or, you could schedule a follow-up email to be sent after a certain amount of time.
With Outlook's delay delivery feature, you can be sure that your emails are always sent at the right time.
Here are some additional tips for using Outlook's delay delivery feature:
- You can schedule an email to be sent up to 999 days in the future.
- If you change your mind, you can always cancel the delay delivery and send the email immediately.
- If you're using Outlook on a mobile device, you can also schedule emails to be sent later.
The possibilities are endless! So next time you need to send an email later, don't forget to use Outlook's delay delivery feature. It's a lifesaver.
